We use it on oily scalp and hair with no dandruff: hair that collapses by the evening, a shiny root area. At the backwash, two quick passes and a generous lukewarm rinse, because water that is too hot stimulates sebum production.

Should I wash less often?
No: with an oily scalp, washing when needed is right, as long as the shampoo does not over-strip. It is the rebound after a harsh wash that makes hair look dirty the next day.
Do I need conditioner?
On the ends yes, if they are dry: an oily scalp and dry ends often go together. What matters is keeping conditioner away from the roots.
